Nanhu Park started its internal operational testing on Jan 11.

Nanhu Park is the transformed version of the 40-year-old Nanhu Amusement Park. In 2020, Guangdong Provincial Tourism Group initiated its renovation, with official construction commencing in July 2023.

During this renovation, the park recreated the nostalgic Space Shuttle that resonates with the memories of old Cantonese residents. Constructed upon the foundation of a parallel universe, the park has innovatively introduced a live-action RPG park experience.

Visitors can visit the camp check-in area to purchase wristbands, scan the wristband QR code to create a character, choose a camp, and embark on a journey filled with fantasy and challenges through RPG gameplay.

Upon joining a camp, visitors can complete main quests, and side quests, or freely explore the park area, interact with amusement facilities, and receive physical cards, computing power, story fragments, achievements, virtual pets, and other surprises.

The Photon Odyssey project is a favorite among visitors at the testing site. Guests board a roller coaster, and the device slowly ascends to a launch point approximately 36.8 meters high, providing an intense acceleration that allows visitors to experience the ultimate thrill.

Park officials stated that internal testing is crucial to ensure visitor safety and provide high-quality service, with the grand opening expected before the 2025 Chinese New Year.
