Strawberry harvest season arrives in Longgui Street
Since December, various strawberry picking gardens in Longgui Street, Baiyun district have seen their first batch of strawberries ripen. These early strawberries are sweet, juicy, and delicious, attracting many sweet-toothed visitors.
Near the Xialiang Metro Station on Longgui Street, the Chinese Red Milk Strawberry Garden features patches of plump strawberries nestled among green leaves and white flowers, exuding a sweet fruity aroma.

Similarly, the Xinyao Strawberry Garden is also experiencing the ripening of its first batch of strawberries, meaning visitors can now pick the strawberries and take photos in the strawberry fields.
In Longgui Street, there are a total of 22 households that grow strawberries, with a combined strawberry planting area of 144 mu (9.6 hectares). The price for picking strawberries ranges from 30 to 35 yuan ($4.12-4.8) per kilogram and is expected to continue until April next year.
In addition to strawberries, Longgui Street also cultivates agricultural products such as cherry tomatoes, blueberries, grapes, and mulberries, injecting new vitality into local agriculture.
