These projects, with a total investment exceeding 10 billion yuan ($1.38 billion), span various sectors, including cultural tourism, creative design, and sports competitions. The conference also established the Baiyun District Cultural, Tourism, and Sports Industry Association, creating a platform for exchange and cooperation. The Overall Plan for the Baiyun District Consumer Cultural and Creative Area Spatial Layout was unveiled, outlining the future development path of integrating cultural tourism with urban space.
Major projects include the Beidou Starry Sky Cultural Tourism Complex, the Asia-Pacific Classic Car Cultural Center, and the "Belt and Road" Eastern Alliance Cultural Park. These initiatives aim to blend major construction projects with cultural and commercial tourism, creating a multiplier effect in value.
Baiyun is set to leverage its ecological advantages, such as the "Two Mountains, Two Lakes, One River" landscape, to accelerate the integration of cultural landscapes, Lingnan culture, and transportation hubs. This will promote the deep integration and clustered development of cultural, commercial, and tourism industries, establishing Baiyun as a hub for cultural and creative industries.
