The event was attended by over 300 guests, including leaders from the China Media Group, Guangdong province, Guangzhou, and Baiyun, as well as international representatives from 12 countries, industry associations, and media representatives. The center, funded and built by Qiaoxin Group, aims to become a modern, comprehensive food supply and distribution platform. It will integrate high-end fresh food trading, sorting, processing, warehousing, logistics, supply chain finance, conferences, and exhibitions.
Covering a total planned area of approximately 133.33 hectares, with the first phase occupying 35.13 hectares and a building area of over 910,000 square meters, the center is expected to generate over 100 billion yuan ($14.01 billion) in annual transactions. It will host at least 2,000 enterprises and businesses, creating over 50,000 jobs along the supply chain.
The project will also collaborate with the Rungis International Market in France to establish a high-quality agricultural and food product supply chain hub, linking Guangzhou with the Greater Bay Area and the global market.
