Renhe town unveils spectacular night festival
Renhe town in Baiyun district has launched the "Jiuzhou Style Night City" festival at Renhe Park, offering a mesmerizing blend of traditional Chinese culture and modern entertainment.
The festival, which will run until the end of the National Day holiday (Oct 7), features three main activities: a Chinese-style lantern show, ethnic performances, and Hanfu appreciation.
The "Jiuzhou Style Night City" builds upon the success of the Tang Dynasty (618-907)-themed lantern festival held earlier this year. Visitors can enjoy new attractions while still experiencing the classic landscapes. The park is adorned with various light themes, creating an immersive atmosphere reminiscent of the Tang Dynasty. A special "Integrity" themed lotus pond, illuminated with fairy lights, adds to the enchanting ambiance.
Ethnic performances are a festival highlight, featuring professional teams showcasing traditional Chinese acrobatics, Miao ethnic knife performances, and bonfire parties. The park also provides a costume rental service, enabling visitors to completely immerse themselves in the cultural experience.
Renhe Park, located in Qinghe village, has transformed over 120 hectares of farmland into an agricultural tourism destination, boosting the local economy and providing employment opportunities for villagers. The night festival has attracted thousands of visitors daily during the summer, and new attractions are set to be unveiled by the Mid-Autumn Festival (Sept 17).
