From June 15 to 18, the 34th Annual Conference of the Chinese Chemical Society was held at the Baiyun International Conference Center and the Baiyun International Conference Hall in Baiyun district, Guangzhou.

This academic exchange platform is the most comprehensive, largest in scale, and highest in level in the field of chemistry and related disciplines in China, attracting over 90 academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, as well as over 10,000 guests.

During the conference, the center and the hall provided over 100 meeting rooms and multi-functional areas, featuring a central venue, 70 sub-venues, over 6,900 square meters of exhibition space, and hosting tens of thousands of attendees.

The venues catered to the simultaneous needs of multiple venues based on spatial differentiation. Advanced equipment and facilities empowered the event, with simultaneous interpretation systems used during the conference to facilitate the participation of guests from different nationalities, supported by 14 simultaneous interpretation rooms accommodating up to 13 languages.

The Baiyun International Conference Hall, designed under the leadership of Academician He Jingtang, embodies the design concept of "Clouds and Mountains". It stands as a top conference venue in China, leading the nation in both overall scale and technological content.

In the future, the Baiyun International Conference Center will continue to enhance its service and reception standards, supporting Guangzhou in becoming a hub for international conferences and exhibitions and showcasing the hospitality of Lingnan to guests from both China and abroad.
