Yuehai Yungang City, a key construction project in Baiyun New City, is progressing well, local media outlets reported on March 12.

The project is backed by an investment of over 20 billion yuan ($2.78 billion), with a building scale of about 730,000 square meters. It is developed as a high-end urban complex covering residential, office, and commercial sectors.

This project will be completed with a 230-meter super-high-grade office building, which will be connected in the future through a pedestrian corridor, linking the Baiyun Green Center, the headquarters of Southern Airlines, and other commercial facilities.

Its buildings are currently in the process of having the exterior facades constructed, interiors decorated, and gardens installed. To date, 70 percent of the exterior facades have been completed, with final acceptance of these buildings expected to occur before the end of 2024.

Once the project is completed, it is expected to leverage its comprehensive competitive advantages, such as the integration development of industry and city. It aims to attract key industrial resources to gather in Baiyun New City.
