Baiyun district in Guangzhou leads China's cosmetics industry
Complete industry supply chain
Four towns and four streets in north Baiyun – including Taihe town, Jianggao town and Junhe Street – own more than 90 percent of the district's licensed cosmetics production companies.
Elsewhere, southern Baiyun New City has lured cosmetics headquarters enterprises, while the Sanyuanli commercial circle has pulled in a large number of wholesale and retail businesses.
Currently, Baiyun has developed a 100-billion-yuan ($14-billion) cosmetics industry cluster, integrating production, sales, R&D, inspection and testing, exhibitions and trading.
