The Zhongluotan Frisbee Park in Guanzhou's Baiyun district is more than 20,000 square meters and opened to the public on Aug 29. The park provides a place for residents to play frisbee.

Located at the junction of Guangcong and Guanglong roads, the park is about 300 meters away from the Exit B2 of Guangzhou Metro Line 14's Zhongluotan Station.

The park offers places to relax, entertainment and sports, and also provides a 1,800-sq-m lawn camping area, which is able to accommodate 120 groups of four-person tents.

Frisbee is easy to play due to its simple rules. There are four to seven players on each team and participants can only pass the frisbee into the scoring zone without hitting the ground. The inability to move after receiving a frisbee and the allotted amount of time to hold the frisbee are two aspects of frisbee sports that have similarities to other sports. 

The announcement that the inaugural frisbee league in China will take place in cities like Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou in the second half of 2022 was made by the State General Administration of Sport on July 7.
