The Guangdong Experimental Middle School Baiyun Campus has an enrollment of about 270 first-grade students, and opened its primary school on Aug 31.

Located on the west side of Xiaogang metro station, the complete primary school in the core area that spans about 45,000 square meters in Baiyun New City has opened 48 classes.

Quan Hanyan, head of Guangdong Experimental Middle School, said that the 70-mu (5-hectare) campus is large in terms of scale, and its overall infrastructure is excellent. The school plans to recruit more outstanding teachers and become the best primary school in Guangzhou.

In addition, four primary and secondary schools, as well as six public kindergartens including Baiyun Shihua Kindergarten, were inaugurated in the district to ensure that Baiyun's students can study at a higher level.
