Yuehai Yungang City, a major construction project of Baiyun New City, made its debut at the Guangzhou Baiyun New City Innovation and High-quality Development Forum on July 18.

As a newly planned landmark in Baiyun New City, Yuehai Yungang City plans to build a 230-meter-high double-tower office building and will unite the five major projects around the town with a "super corridor". 

The 18.6-billion-yuan ($2.8-billion) project will gather headquarters of high-end enterprises in industries spanning financial services, high-end and new technology, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, energy conservation, environmental protection and new materials.

Baiyun district, one of the most bustling downtown areas in Guangzhou, plays an indispensable role in developing industries and providing resources for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Baiyun New City's current comprehensive strength of fast-developing industries and supporting facilities has attracted 170 key projects to settle in the area.

The Guangzhou Baiyun New City Innovation and High-quality Development Forum gathered experts to discuss pressing issues related to the innovative and high-quality development of Baiyun.
