IT industrial park buys residential land lot in Baiyun

A 127,900-square-meter second-level residential land lot was purchased by a subsidiary of Guangzhou Communications Investment Group for 17,500 yuan ($2,594) per sq m on July 18.
The land lot is located on the west side of Xuguang Expressway and the north side of Guangzhou-Foshan-Zhaoqing Expressway. It is close to Jiaoxin Station on Guangzhou Metro Line 8 and Huangjinwei Station on Line 29 is planned on its west side.
The project is being designed as a new-generation information technology industrial park, and will be included in the first phase development plan for the west Huangjinwei area of Baiyun Lake Digital Technology City.
Smart facilities and experimental bases such as shared laboratories and intelligent robot test areas are planned to be built to highlight the characteristics of digital applications and experimental industries to create a digital application demonstration zone in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The area has service facilities such as supermarkets, banks and gas stations being around, and is expected to have supportive educational facilities in the future that bidders will build for free.
