The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao (Guangzhou) Greater Bay Area Rail Transit Industrial Development Center in Baiyun district has attracted more than 30 high-quality upstream and downstream enterprises to settle in the area since it began operations in July 2021.

Guangzhou Metro built the center and the center was one of the major projects in Guangzhou as well as the city's first rail transit industrial cluster.

It is a five-floor comprehensive civil building with a total area of more than 20,000 square meters, a floorage of 65,000 sq m, and two floors are underground.

Guangzhou Greater Bay Area Rail Transit Industry Investment unveiled its plaque in the center in September 2021. It was set up by nine industrial leading enterprises such as Guangzhou Industry Investment, Guangzhou Metro, Baiyun Electric and PCI Tech.

Guangzhou Railway Transportation Industry Alliance is also located in the center, and has 178 members. Irregular events such as lectures, industrial exchanges and technical trainings have been organized by the alliance to provide high-quality industrial services to its members.

A member of the alliance's staff claimed that the alliance has also provided auxiliary services to meet enterprises' operational and managerial needs, such as renting places, promoting brands, training talents, and providing political consultations, all while working to transform the center into an exhibition platform for rail transit enterprises that combines corporate functions with sci-tech innovation, cooperation, and exchanges.
