On March 6, China Southern Airlines Logistics officially launched the nation's first "Dual Pre-Clearance" cargo station at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport's Comprehensive Bonded Zone (South Area). This marks the operational debut of the first cargo station in China to integrate both civil aviation security screening and customs inspection into a single pre-clearance process.

The station combines key functions such as pre-screening security checks, customs clearance, and cargo consolidation, ensuring seamless alignment between aviation safety standards and customs regulations. By completing all necessary procedures before goods arrive at the airport, the station eliminates the need for lengthy on-site inspections, allowing cargo to move directly to aircraft loading points.

This initiative is part of China Southern Airlines' efforts to support domestic cargo exports, reduce logistics costs, and improve efficiency. Preliminary tests show that the new system improves overall efficiency by over 70% compared to traditional methods, significantly enhancing the clearance process for imported goods. The "Dual Pre-Clearance" model is expected to strengthen Guangzhou's role as a national logistics hub and boost cross-border trade in the Greater Bay Area.
