The much-anticipated Guangfu Temple Fair 2025 opens in Yuexiu district on Feb 12, the day of the Lantern Festival. This year's fair will take the Zhongyou Square of the Chenghuang Temple as its main venue, with additional activities spread across Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, Meihuacun Street, Kuangquan Street, Wuxian( Five Immortals) Temple, and other locations. Combining both online and offline experiences, the event will run for seven days, offering a dazzling array of activities each day.

The fair will feature ten major sections, including cultural performances, intangible cultural heritage displays, food festival, ancestral temple celebrations and a virtual temple fair. From folk parade, dragon and lion shows, Cantonese opera to lantern DIY, comedy shows and riddle guessing, there's something for everyone, from food lovers to culture enthusiasts.

As one of the most iconic cultural events in Guangzhou, the Guangfu Temple Fair not only showcases the city's vibrant heritage but also brings people together to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
