The 2024 Imperial Springs International Forum was held in Madrid, Spain, on Dec 12 local time.

During the forum, some former political leaders shared their perspectives on hot topics regarding China.

Maria Fernanda Espinosa, President of the 73rd Session of the UN General Assembly told reporters that Latin America highly appreciated the joint work and the partnership with China that the cooperation can strengthen interdependence, collective action, building global community, but also tackling inequalities, poverty, climate crisis and security crisis.

"We have witnessed poverty reduction massively in China and we have learned that there is no one model of development, one political system," she said.
