A media delegation from Pakistan visited Guangzhou on Oct 20 to inspect the city's achievements in high-quality development. During their visit, the delegation members focused on exploring Liwan district, where they witnessed the remarkable results of the old city's transformation and immersed themselves in the charm of traditional culture.
At the Cantonese Opera Art Museum, the delegation attended a public performance, relishing the chance to enjoy Cantonese opera in a Lingnan cultural garden. Despite not understanding the dialogue, many members offered their praises, with the tranquil ambiance by the water leaving a lasting impression. In the exhibition area, the exquisite Cantonese opera costumes and vibrant facial makeup mesmerized the delegation, garnering continuous praise.
Delegation member Faisal Siddique commented on the unique makeup and costume designs, highlighting their distinctive artistic flair and the rich meanings behind them.
Just a wall away at Yongqing Fang, the delegation visited the ancestral home of Bruce Lee, where they admired Lingnan architecture, explored trendy boutique stores, and learned about the revitalization efforts in historical districts.
The delegation members expressed their commitment to promoting Guangzhou's tourist attractions and investment opportunities, aiming to facilitate the implementation of additional collaborative projects for mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.
