Zhan Decun, director of the Guangzhou foreign affairs office, engaged in a working exchange with a delegation of 10 representatives from the Investment Promotion Bureau of Zhambyl State, Kazakhstan. The delegation included Talip Yerzhan Yerkinovich, director of the Investment Promotion Bureau, and Manasov Berik Zhambylovich, advisor to the Governor of Zhambyl State.

Zhan introduced the recent economic and social development of Guangzhou to the delegation, expressing the city's eagerness to enhance collaboration with Zhambyl State across diverse sectors including trade, investment, education, sports, and culture.

The delegation from Zhambyl State mentioned that this was their first participation in the China Import and Export Fair and expressed their desire to enhance connections with the China Foreign Trade Center. They also expressed interest in exploring the possibility of showcasing Kazakhstani products at the next Canton Fair.
