At the invitation of the Chinese Embassy in Fiji, a delegation from the Guangzhou foreign affairs office visited Suva, Fiji, from Sept 16 to 21.

During the visit, the delegation met with Ambassador Zhou Jian at the Chinese Embassy in Fiji to receive guidance on enhancing friendly exchanges and practical cooperation between Guangzhou and Fiji.

They also attended a reception hosted by the Chinese Embassy in Fiji to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, where they supported the Guangzhou cultural performance troupe in completing their performance.

In addition, they visited institutions such as the University of the South Pacific and fishery companies to enhance cooperation in higher education and deep-sea fishing between the two regions.
