The 2024 Foreign Experts Chinese Language Training Class kicked off with an opening ceremony in Guangzhou on Sept 14. Over 20 experts from 13 countries, such as the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, and Pakistan, gathered with their families and friends to begin their Chinese language learning journey and delve into Chinese culture.

The training class, designed for foreign experts residing and working in Guangdong, offers an intensive two-month Chinese language program conducted by a reputable language training institution. The course integrates online and offline learning approaches, featuring interactive small group sessions customized to the students' professional backgrounds and job requirements, drastically improving their Chinese language proficiency.

The leaders of the Guangdong Science and Technology Cooperation Center emphasized that learning Chinese has become a crucial avenue for individuals worldwide to appreciate Chinese culture. They expressed their hope that the training class will assist the experts in better acclimating and integrating into their professional and personal lives in Guangdong, fostering a deeper comprehension of Chinese history, culture, and traditions.

Additionally, they anticipate that through Chinese language acquisition, students will be able to forge new friendships, promote mutual understanding through communication, and drive development through collaboration. They look forward to each student evolving into a cultural ambassador, sharing vibrant Chinese and Guangdong stories with the world.
