The "Nice to Meet You - Guangzhou Photography Exhibition" was held in Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland, on May 19, local time.

This exhibition featured more than 50 excellent photographic works and marked the first Guangzhou city promotion event in Northern Ireland.

The exhibition showcased the distinctive cityscape, cuisine, and culture of Guangzhou in Belfast, providing locals with a glimpse into the city's landmarks and the rich history and vibrancy of Guangzhou, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and even China as a whole.

Zhang Meifang, the Chinese consul general in Belfast, highlighted Guangzhou's historical and cultural significance, as well as its renowned Cantonese cuisine. The exhibition served to enhance Belfast residents' understanding of Guangzhou and China, contributing to the promotion of Chinese culture in Northern Ireland.

Xu Fang, the editor-in-chief of Guangzhou Daily, summarized the exhibition with the keywords "Guangzhou", "charm", and "encounter", extending a warm invitation to individuals from various backgrounds in Belfast to explore Guangzhou, aiming to foster stronger cultural and economic ties between the two regions.
