On April 30, 2024, with the support of Yongning Sub-district Party Working Committee, Yongning Sub-district Government, and under the active planning of Zengcheng Women Entrepreneurs Association, the Your Turn English Club initiated by Ms. Ding Ni was officially established in the Phoenix Tea Academy of Phoenix City Hotel in Phoenix City International Neighborhood.

As the largest residential villa community in South China, Phoenix City International Neighborhood has a good community environment and foundation for providing foreign-related services. In 2022, it was selected as the only neighborhood in Zengcheng District to pilot the construction of international blocks in Guangzhou. 

Phoenix City International Neighborhood has always been committed to promoting the integration of Chinese and foreign cultures within the neighborhood and actively builds a platform for cultural, language, and other exchanges between Chinese and foreign residents in the neighborhood.

The club is named "Your Turn," which means "It's your turn," and is transliterated as "优盾" in Chinese. The phrase "It's your turn!" is expected to awaken an individual's personal and societal sense of responsibility in the current era. 

"Your Turn" is a cultural filter, and the club will develop with a focus on positive energy, advocatingcivilization, hammony, mutual assistance, and co-construction.

The Your Turn English Club is an international club for English communication. It aims to provide a social and cultural exchange platform for international friends in Phoenix City International Neighborhood during their leisure time. At the same time, it also provides a platform for learning and communication for overseas returnees, prospective international students, and English enthusiasts in Phoenix City International Neighborhood. It allows foreign friends to feel the warmth of the neighborhood in a foreign land and promotes the dissemination of traditional Chinese culture such as tea art, incense art, flower arrangement, dance, painting, and traditional Chinese medicine.

By establishing the Your Turn International English Club, the neighborhood enriches the leisure life of international friends and English enthusiasts there and enhance the sense of belonging of international talents in the community. It also enables Chinese culture to go global and facilitates the integration of world cultures in Phoenix City International Neighborhood.

The English corner activity, themed on Health and organized by the club, has received excellent feedback from Chinese and foreign residents in the Neighborhood. Mr. Kevin from Zimbabwe said, "Such activities should be held more than once a week." He is looking forward to more frequent and lively exchange activities at the club now that it is established. 

The club is aimed to become an important platform for the exchange and integration of Chinese and foreign cultures in Phoenix City International Neighborhood. English enthusiasts and Chinese and foreign culture enthusiasts in the neighborhood are welcome to participate in activities of the Your Turn English Club.
