The 2024 Yuexiu Lantern Festival is scheduled to take place in Yuexiu Park, Guangzhou, from Feb 2 to March 4. 

This year's theme, "Prosperity at Your Doorstep," incorporates elements of Lingnan architecture and Cantonese culture, such as rosewood palace lanterns, and paper-cutting art, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Guangzhou.

Highlights of the event include the "Blooming Flowers" and "Great Fortune" lantern sets. The former centers around Guangzhou's iconic kapok and peach blossoms, while the latter symbolizes good luck and fortune. Yuexiu Park will feature multiple viewing areas, with some attractions remaining open to the public free of charge.

The Lantern Festival will implement zone-based pricing, with ticket discounts available during certain periods and for specific groups. Visitors can reserve their tickets online.
