The 2023 China Overseas Talent Exchange Conference and the 25th China Guangzhou Science and Technology Exchange Meeting for Chinese Students and Scholars Abroad (2023 OTEC) are set to take place in Guangzhou on Dec 22. 

Since its inception in 1998, the conference has become a vital platform that encourages overseas-educated Chinese to return and start businesses in China. 

The 2023 OTEC, with the theme "Gathering Global Talents, Creating the Future", will assemble international talents to participate in a series of events, such as the "Chunhui Cup" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and the 25th OTEC anniversary exhibition. 

These events are expected to foster technological innovation and talent development.
