To reinforce the bond between the two cities, Bernardito C. Ang, a city official from Manila, the Philippines, led a delegation on a visit to its friendship city, Guangzhou, from June 17 to 19. 

Zhan Decun, director of the foreign affairs office of the people's government of Guangzhou municipality, met with the delegation to discuss strengthening friendly exchanges and cooperation in various fields.

The visit has deepened educational and technological exchanges between the two cities, marking a crucial step in the development of this bilateral relationship.
