A delegation of 25 representatives from English-speaking African countries met with Li Xiaoqin, vice chairperson of the Standing Committee of the Guangzhou Municipal People's Congress, in Guangzhou on April 28.

The two sides exchanged views on strengthening friendly exchanges and cooperation between Guangzhou and African countries in various fields. 

Tu Hongzhe, a leader of the foreign affairs office of the Guangzhou municipal government, attended the meeting.
