More than 30 senior executives from Japanese-funded enterprises in Guangzhou attended the meeting. Representatives from more than 10 relevant institutions and enterprises in Guangzhou were also invited to attend.

In his speech, Hagiwara Akira, deputy consul general of Japan in Guangzhou, said that this year marks the 45th anniversary of the signing of the China-Japanese Peace and Friendship Treaty. Japanese-funded enterprises have made great progress in China, and Sino-Japanese economic and trade cooperation has a broad cooperation space and development potential.

The dialogue is a platform to listen to voices of Japanese-funded enterprises and help them solve practical problems. It is of great significance to strengthen China-Japan economic and trade cooperation. Hagiwara looks forward to this event becoming a new starting point for maintaining close economic and trade exchanges between China and Japan.

Hong Qian, director of the Guangzhou municipal bureau of commerce, said that Japan is one of Guangzhou's most important investment and trade partners.

Through dialogue and exchange activities, he hopes to enhance mutual understanding between relevant institutions and Japanese-funded enterprises in Guangzhou and Japan. They will jointly build an efficient and convenient communication platform, and work together to promote the high-quality development of economic and trade cooperation between the two places.
