On March 26, a dialogue between youth leaders of China and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) took place in Nansha district, Guangzhou, as part of the 2nd Asian Youth Leaders Forum.

Ambassadors from both countries addressed the event, emphasizing the importance of cultural exchanges, economic cooperation, and the roles of the youth in fostering the long-standing relationship between China and the UAE.

Ali Obaid Al Dhaheri, the UAE's ambassador to China, highlighted youth-oriented programs in digitalization, climate change, and food security. Chinese Ambassador to the UAE, Zhang Yiming, mentioned the "100 Schools Project" for Chinese education in the UAE, which has enrolled 54,000 students and spurred a "Chinese Fever" among UAE youth. Both ambassadors encouraged young leaders to work together to strengthen bilateral friendships and promote prosperity.
