Guangzhou Daily and La Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno, a newspaper headquartered in Bari, Italy, signed a memorandum of cooperation online on March 4 to establish a friendly newspaper interaction mechanism.

Last November, on the 36th anniversary of the friendship between the two cities, Guangzhou Daily reported on Bari's food culture in a full-page report. La Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno also published a full-page article about Guangzhou's food.

To date, Guangzhou has established friendly relations with 102 cities in 67 countries. 

The "Guangzhou Story" is going global, and showcasing Guangzhou in international circles will contribute to the high-quality development of its social and economic influence.
