As the venue of the Canton Fair, more than 50 exhibitions will be held in Guangzhou in the next two months. They will be primarily industry exhibitions, covering areas such as automotive, furniture, beauty, medical, design, food, and animation industries.

In February, 14 exhibitions will be held in seven exhibition halls, including the Canton Fair Complex and the Guangzhou International Procurement Center.

The 5th National Forest Fire Equipment Exhibition and Emergency Rescue Equipment Exhibition will be held on Feb 8 at R&F Global Fashion Expo Center in Huadu district, Guangzhou.

The National Forest Fire Protection Equipment Exhibition is the largest national exhibition in the forest and grassland fire protection industry. It was last held in Shenzhen and will be making its Guangzhou debut this year.

The exhibition will provide domestic and foreign forest fire protection enterprises opportunities to display their new products, technologies, and forest fire protection achievements. It will also help improve the scientific and technological innovation level of forest fire protection equipment.

In 2022, Guangzhou's key venues held nearly 200 exhibitions with an area of more than 4 million square meters, as well as nearly 4,000 conferences, ranking first in the country in terms of annual exhibition scale and first in the world in terms of the indoor exhibition area of the Canton Fair Complex.

According to officials of the Guangzhou municipal bureau of commerce, Guangzhou has been providing strong support for the exhibition industry in recent years, including nearly 60 million yuan ($8.85 million) in provincial and municipal support funds last year.
