We have achieved certain progress in the past three days since we strengthened our COVID-19 prevention and control measures on November 11. However, according to the latest monitoring results, the risk of infection has not been completely eliminated. The COVID-19 situation in the district remains uncertain, challenging, and complex.

In order to safeguard people's health and safety, we have made a deliberate decision to extend the measures stipulated in the Notification of Strengthening COVID-19 Prevention and Control Measures in Haizhu District in the area to the east of Dongxiao Road-Changgang Road and to the west of Keyun Road till 24:00 on November 16, 2022.

The fight against COVID-19 is everyone's business and it is where everyone has a role to play. We urge every resident to continue to follow the control and prevention measures and stay optimistic during this difficult time. Together we will soon win this fight.
