On November 10, 2022, Guangzhou reported 225 locally-acquired cases, among which 195 were found among people under centralized quarantine, 28 were found among people under mandatory home quarantine, one was found among people in high-risk areas, and one was found in district-wide PCR testing. Guangzhou also reported 2,358 locally-acquired asymptomatic cases, among which 705 were found among people under centralized quarantine, 1,590 were found among people under mandatory home quarantine, 32 were found among people in high-risk areas, 17 were found in district-wide PCR testing, six were found in voluntary PCR testing, three were found among close contacts, two were found in medium-risk areas, two were found among people under closed-loop management, and one was found among people with high exposure risk. Besides, 241 locally-acquired asymptomatic cases previously reported turned into confirmed cases. The above 2,583 patients have already been transferred to designated hospitals for isolation and treatment and are in stable condition. Their close contacts have been placed under centralized quarantine, and relevant control measures implemented in key sites of transmission. In addition, Guangzhou reported six imported confirmed cases and four imported asymptomatic cases. And one imported asymptomatic case previously reported turned into a confirmed case.

As of 24:00, November 10, 2022, a total of 25,443 positive cases have been reported in the city. These include 7,151 confirmed cases (2,738 imported cases and 4,413 locally-acquired cases), among which 2,758 cases are still being treated in the hospital. There are 18,292 asymptomatic cases (3,662 imported cases and 14,630 locally-acquired cases), among which 13,530 cases are still under medical observation.

Details of the Six Imported Confirmed Cases and Four Imported Asymptomatic Cases

The six imported confirmed cases are travelers from Singapore (1), the United States (1), Canada (1), the United Arab Emirates (1), Indonesia (1), and Malaysia (1). The four imported asymptomatic cases are travelers from Indonesia (2), Malaysia (1), and the United States (1).

Upon their arrival in Guangzhou, all the imported confirmed and asymptomatic cases were transferred to hotels for centralized quarantine. They tested positive for COVID-19 during quarantine and were transferred to designated hospitals for isolation and treatment.
