The Guangzhou Award's "I Grow with the City" global photo collection activity creation story sharing meeting and the 19th Guangzhou Award Urban Innovation Forum event were held via online live streaming on Oct 19.

Zhan Decun, director of the foreign affairs office of the Guangzhou municipal government, delivered a speech via video.

The Guangzhou Award's "I Grow Together with the City" global photo collection campaign aims to invite people from all over the world to explore the historical memory of the city through images, record the development and changes of the city, as well as inspire people to better explore the innovation of global urban governance at the 10th anniversary of the Guangzhou Award.

A total of 497 submissions from 32 cities in 17 countries have been received. Authors from Boston in the United States, Paris in France, as well as Kunming, Xi'an, Nanjing, and other places in China attended the online event and shared their stories behind creating the photos.
