Guangzhou to cooperate with Santa Cruz in various fields

An online exchange meeting was held between Guangzhou and Santa Cruz, Bolivia on Oct 18. 

Wang Jialei, China's consul general in Santa Cruz, presided over the meeting, which was attended by Zhan Decun, director of the foreign affairs office of the Guangzhou municipal government, as well as Natalie Cortes, acting director of the institutional coordination and autonomy bureau of Santa Cruz.

Wang gave a brief introduction on the development of China-Bolivia relations, as well as on the progress of exchanges and cooperation between Santa Cruz and China in his speech. He said that the consulate general will fully support the two cities in carrying out exchanges and cooperation in various fields, as well as play an active role in promoting the economic and social development of the two cities, fostering a good relationship between the two countries.

Zhan said that Guangzhou is willing to work together with Santa Cruz to promote the establishment of friendly relations and sustainable development cooperation. He added that the two cities can carry out practical cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, culture and education, science and technology, medical care, and sports, as well as youth exchanges to achieve a higher level of common development and prosperity, benefiting the people of the two cities and promoting the development of bilateral relations.

Santa Cruz is the largest city in Bolivia, a landlocked country in central South America. It is one of the most economically dynamic and promising cities in Bolivia with beautiful scenery and friendly people.
