On July 15, Guangzhou reported 2 local confirmed cases (1 was previously reported as an asymptomatic case), 1 local asymptomatic case, 4 imported confirmed cases (1 was previously reported as an asymptomatic case), and 6 imported asymptomatic cases.

As of 24:00 July 15, 2022, a total of 6,297 positive cases have been reported in the city. These include 3,010 confirmed cases (2,040 imported cases and 970 local cases), among which, 68 cases are still being treated in hospital; and 3,287 asymptomatic cases (3,025 imported cases and 262 local cases), among which, 31 cases are still under medical observation.　

Local Cases and Local Asymptomatic Case Details

The 1st patient is a 38-year-old Chinese man who arrived in Guangzhou on July 12 and lived in Shangri-La Guangzhou, Haizhu District. He was previously reported as an asymptomatic case and has now been diagnosed as a confirmed case.

The 2nd patient is a 39-year-old Chinese man who lives in Shuixi Village, Aotou Town, Conghua District. On July 12, he was placed under centralized quarantine for medical observation as the close contact of a confirmed case outside Guangzhou and tested positive during the quarantine. The patient has been transferred to Guangzhou No. 8 People's Hospital for quarantine and treatment.

The asymptomatic patient is a 47-year-old Chinese woman who lives in Guangxin Street, Jiahe Subdistrict, Baiyun District, On July 13, she was placed under centralized quarantine for medical observation as the close contact of a confirmed case in Guangzhou and tested positive during the quarantine. The patient has been transferred to Guangzhou No. 8 People's Hospital for quarantine and treatment.

From 11 a.m., July 16, Haizhu District has adjusted Buildings A5, A6, A7, A8 and A9 of R&F Shunyi Garden from high-risk zones to medium-risk zones, and other areas of R&F Shunyi Garden from medium-risk zones to low-risk zones.

Starting from 11 p.m., July 16, Cuicheng Garden and Feicuixuan Garden in Haizhu District will be adjusted from medium-risk zones to low-risk zones.
