Bram van Ooijen, an urban transportation consultant from the Netherlands, has explored almost every part of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area on his bicycle over the past 12 years. 

He has visited a variety of places and terrains ranging from hills to beaches, villages to cities, old towns to new towns, as well as natural wonders to ultra-modern business districts.

Ooijen said that through his travels, he has become more acquainted with the region's many amazing natural features and historical heritage even more than local residents. He added that he appreciates the GBA's unique traditional culture.

To promote traveling through the Greater Bay Area to more people, Ooijen has founded Cycling Guangdong, an organization of cycling enthusiasts that puts together cycling trips to explore the Greater Bay Area.
