In order to control COVID-19 in a more targeted manner and guarantee the smooth operation of people's productive activities and daily life, given the current epidemic control situation, the decision on allowing some catering service providers in Haizhu District to resume operational activities is released as follows:

1. In the areas in Haizhu District except for the lockdown, partial lockdown and restricted zones in Xingang, Jiangnanzhong and Nanzhou Subdistricts, all catering service providers (including drink shops, snack shops and breakfast diners etc.) are able to resume dine-in services from April 22.

2. All catering service providers (including drink shops, snack shops and breakfast diners etc.) in the current lockdown, partial lockdown and restricted zones will be allowed to resume dine-in services from the day when the epidemic prevention and control measures are lifted.

3. All catering service providers shall strictly implement measures such as temperature taking, code scanning, travel card checking, etc., on their premises and separate their entrances from the exits if they have conditions to do so. They should provide serving chopsticks and spoons, restrict the number of diners on the premises, distance tables and allow a maximum of 10 diners per table.

4. All catering service providers shall strictly implement management measures on the health of food handlers and hygiene of catering premises. The catering premises shall be thoroughly cleaned and ventilated on a daily basis. Catering service providers shall keep monitoring the health status of their employees, urge them to get vaccinated, require them to wear a mask during work, and strictly keep them away from their posts if they are showing respiratory infection symptoms, such as fever and coughing.

The above measures will be dynamically adjusted according to assessments of the risk of COVID-19 spread. We urge all residents to keep vigilant to the risk of infection and continue to protect themselves properly in daily life and comply with the relevant prevention and control measures.
