On April 13, Guangzhou reported 39 local confirmed cases (of which 2 were previously labelled as asymptomatic patients), 5 local asymptomatic cases and 3 imported, asymptomatic cases. Two COVID-19 patients have been newly discharged, while 129 still remain in the hospital.

As of 24:00 April 13, 2022, a total of 5,184 positive cases have been reported in the city. These include 2,462 confirmed cases (1,804 imported cases and 658 local cases) and 2,722 asymptomatic cases (2,488 imported cases and 234 local cases).

The 1st patient is a 20-year-old Chinese woman who lives on Renhexubei Back West Street, Renhe Town, Baiyun District. She was identified as an asymptomatic case on April 11 and has now been diagnosed as a confirmed case.

The 2nd patient is a 52-year-old Chinese woman who lives on the 9th Lane, Houjiaonan Side Street, Nanzhou Subdistrict, Haizhu District. She was identified as an asymptomatic case on April 10 and has now been diagnosed as a confirmed case.

The 3rd patient is a 19-year-old Chinese man who lives on Aimin Road, Renhe Village, Renhe Town, Baiyun District.

The 4th patient is a 23-year-old Chinese man who lives on Dapu North Street, Tangchong, Xinshi Subdistrict, Baiyun District.

The 5th patient is a 20-year-old Chinese woman who lives on the 5th Lane, Hele Middle Street, Renhe Town, Baiyun District.

The 6th patient is a 27-year-old Chinese man who lives on the 3rd Lane, Liuda South, Hengli, Renhe Town, Baiyun District.

The 3rd asymptomatic patient is a 26-year-old Chinese man who lives in Tianxin Village, Taihe Town, Baiyun District.

The 1st-3rd asymptomatic patients were found among quarantined close contacts.

The 4th asymptomatic patient is a 40-year-old Chinese man who lives in Dagang Village, Baiyunhu Subdistrict, Baiyun District. The patient was detected in the partial lockdown zone.

The 5th asymptomatic patient is a 41-year-old Chinese man who lives on Lai'an 1st Street, Yonghe Subdistrict, Huangpu District. The patient was found among visitors who travelled from places outside of Guangdong Province.

All patients have been transferred to Guangzhou No. 8 People's Hospital for quarantine and treatment.
