On April 12, Guangzhou reported 20 local confirmed cases (of which 9 were previously asymptomatic patients), 2 local asymptomatic cases, 1 imported confirmed case, and 10 imported asymptomatic cases. Six COVID-19 patients were newly discharged, while 92 were still in the hospital.

As of 24:00 April 12, 2022, the city has reported a total of 5,139 positive cases, including 2,423 confirmed cases (1,804 imported cases and 619 local cases) and 2,716 asymptomatic cases (2,485 imported cases and 231 local cases).

The 1st patient is a 24-year-old Chinese man who lives in East 3rd Lane, Hengli South Street, Renhe Town, Baiyun. He was identified as an asymptomatic case on April 10 and has now been diagnosed as a confirmed case.

The 2nd patient is a 29-year-old Chinese man who lives in Zongheng Bincheng Community, Xinshi Street, Baiyun.

The 3rd patient is a 25-year-old Chinese woman who lives in Dagang Village, Baiyunhu Street, Baiyun.

The 4th patient is a 21-year-old Chinese woman who lives in Jiefangzhuang Avenue, Yongping Street, Baiyun.

The 5th patient is a 21-year-old Chinese man who lives in Pangui Northwest Street, Xiushui Village, Renhe Town, Baiyun.

The 6th patient is a 32-year-old Chinese woman who lives in Yangguang Meiju Community, Xinshi Street, Baiyun.

The 7th patient is a 26-year-old Chinese woman who lives in Tanggang Road, Tangjing Street, Baiyun.

The 8th patient is a 33-year-old Chinese woman who lives in Poly Ziwei Garden, Xinshi Street, Baiyun.

The 9th patient is a 20-year-old Chinese man who lives in Dongping Zhongxing 3rd Lane, Pingzhong Road, Yongping Street, Baiyun.

The 2nd-9th patients were reported as asymptomatic infections on April 11, and have now been diagnosed as confirmed cases.

The 10th patient is a 29-year-old Chinese man who lives in Xianggang Youth Apartment, Tangjing Street, Baiyun.

The 11th patient is a 39-year-old Chinese man who lives in Nantian Xincun Community, Sanyuanli Avenue, Tangjing Street, Baiyun.

The 12th patient is a 23-year-old Chinese man who lives in Hengjiao Dong’an Lane, Tongde Street, Baiyun.

The 13th patient is a 24-year-old Chinese woman who lives in Xianggang Youth Apartment, Tangjing Street, Baiyun.

The 14th patient is a 9-year-old Chinese boy who lives in Nantian Xincun Community, Sanyuanli Avenue, Tangjing Street, Baiyun.

The 15th patient is a 16-year-old Chinese young man who lives in Dapu Jiushe Village, Xinshi Street, Baiyun.

The 16th patient is a 24-year-old Chinese man who lives on the 8th Lane, Jiangxia North 2nd Road, Huangshi Street, Baiyun.

The 17th patient is a 42-year-old Chinese man who lives in East 3rd Lane, Dagang Middle Road, Baiyunhu Street, Baiyun.

The 10th-17th patients were detected in the lockdown and partial lockdown areas.

The 18th patient is a 31-year-old Chinese woman who lives in Dunren Lane, Dagang Road, Baiyunhu Street, Baiyun.

The 19th patient is a 26-year-old Chinese woman who lives in Dapu Jiushe Village, Xinshi Street, Baiyun.

The 20th patient is a 32-year-old Chinese man who lives in Feilisi Apartment, Xinshi Street, Baiyun.

The 18th-20th patients were found among close contacts under quarantine.

The 1st asymptomatic patient is a 65-year-old Chinese man who lives in Xiangjing Garden, Huangshi Street, Baiyun. He was detected in the control areas.

The 2nd asymptomatic patient is a 35-year-old Chinese woman who lives in Kangya Garden, Tangjing Street, Baiyun. She was found among the close contacts under quarantine.

All these patients have been transferred to Guangzhou No. 8 People's Hospital for quarantine and treatment.
