On March 3, the 2021 China-CEEC Children's Environmental Painting Online Exhibition and the 2022 Excellent Works Exhibition were held in Beijing. Zhan Decun, director of the foreign affairs office of the Guangzhou municipal government, was invited to attend as the representative of Guangzhou.

With environmental protection as the theme, the organizers selected 100 outstanding works from over 170,000 pieces in domestic competition areas, as well as central and eastern European international competition areas.

In 2021, the Guangzhou section of the 2021 China-CEEC Children's Environmental Painting Online Exhibition received over 120,000 submissions, which promoted exchanges and cooperation between Guangzhou and central and eastern European countries.
