The 130th China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, will be held in Guangzhou in October. To ensure a successful fair, we have decided to carry out the following COVID-19 testing measures on all passengers from outside Guangdong from Oct 8 to 20.

1. Starting from 00:00 on Oct 8 to 24:00 on Oct 9, passengers entering Guangzhou from outside Guangdong by plane, train or coach must provide a green health code and a negative PCR test report within 48 hours prior to entering the province. Those without a PCR test report shall take a test within 24 hours upon arrival in Guangzhou.

2. Starting from 00:00 on Oct 10 to 24:00 on Oct 19, passengers planning to enter Guangzhou must provide a negative PCR test report within 48 hours before boarding a plane, train or coach. Those who fail to present a valid test report will not be allowed to board. Exemptions can be made to toddlers aged 3 and below.

3. Those from provinces with reported local COVID-19 cases who plan to enter Guangzhou by plane, train or coach must take a PCR test on-site upon arrival, and provide a negative PCR test report taken within 48 hours. They shall also report relevant information to their local community and go through the follow-up health management procedures.

4. All government agencies, enterprises and institutions shall check their employees' travel histories and follow through with the following safety protocols: employees returning to Guangzhou from outside Guangdong must have a negative PCR test report taken within 48 hours, and those from provinces with reported local COVID-19 cases shall take another test upon arrival in Guangzhou. Residential communities shall intensify efforts in checking travel codes at the entrances and provide adequate COVID-19 testing guidance for their residents.

5. All hotels and hostels shall check the health codes and travel codes of their guests at check-in. Guests from outside Guangdong must provide a negative PCR test report within 48 hours of registration.

6. The starting time of the PCR test report should be taken within 48 hours and shall be determined by the time stated on your PCR test report. For test reports with both a sampling time and a testing time, the former shall prevail. If the specific time is not indicated, 00:00 on the date shown on your test report will be deemed as the starting time. The deadline of your PCR test report will be determined by the scheduled arrival time of your flight, train or coach.
