Guangzhou has canceled on-site nucleic acid testing on Aug 27 for people arriving at six railway stations: Guangzhou Railway Station, Guangzhou South Railway Station, Guangzhou East Railway Station, Guangzhou North Railway Station, Qingsheng Railway Station and Xintangnan Railway Station. Also, three coach terminals have canceled nucleic acid testing, which include Guangdong Provincial Coach Terminal, Tianhe Coach Terminal and Jiaokou Coach Terminal. 

However, the nucleic acid testing site in Baiyun International Airport remains operational, providing free services to domestic arrivals from medium- and high-risk areas and for those without test certificates issued within 48 hours.
