The office of the Zhuhai COVID-19 pneumonia epidemic prevention and control headquarters issued a notice on Aug 23, stating that according to the needs of epidemic prevention and control, starting from 12 am on Aug 25, residents who enter and exit Zhuhai via Zhuhai-Macao ports (including Zhuhai-Macao cross-border truck drivers), must provide a certificate of a negative nucleic acid test result issued within seven days.

However, visitors from cities in high-risk areas outside the province who travel to Macao via Zhuhai will need to present a negative nucleic acid test result issued within 48 hours starting from Aug 25 in accordance with the requirements of the Epidemic Prevention and Control Group of the Guangdong COVID-19 Pneumonia Prevention and Control Command Office.
