The COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread and there have been clustered infections caused by imported cases in many provinces in China. KTVs, mini singing booths, internet service venues, chess and card rooms, and mahjong halls are poorly ventilated and are likely to draw gatherings, making it easy to spread the virus, which is why they are temporarily being closed.
In order to protect the health and safety of the people, and build a solid defense for COVID-19 control and prevention, the government has decided that KTVs, mini singing booths, internet service venues, chess and card rooms, and mahjong halls will be temporarily closed.
Districts and related authorities should continue to conduct inspections to ensure these businesses are closed.
The above control and prevention measures are adjusted on an ongoing basis of risk assessments. This contents mentioned in this notice are currently in effect.
