Guangzhou municipal health commission reported that on July 7, 2021 there were zero newly confirmed local COVID-19 cases, zero new domestic asymptomatic COVID-19 cases, 2 newly confirmed imported cases, and 5 newly imported asymptomatic cases. Nine patients were discharged from the hospital.

As of 24:00 July 7, 2021, there are a total of 913 confirmed imported cases and 523 confirmed domestic cases (including those stemming from imported cases). A total of 1,407 patients have recovered and been discharged from the hospital, while one patient died from the disease. Total ongoing COVID-19 hospitalizations stand at 28.
