The conference on innovation and intellectual property protection of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) is set to take place in Guangzhou from Sept 7 to 8, officials from the BFA organizing committee announced on July 6.

The conference is expected to explore IP's role in stimulating innovation and to make contributions to the establishment of a balanced, open and dynamic global IP ecosystem. 

The conference will focus on the integration and innovation of global IP management systems and the construction of IP protection systems around the world to boost scientific innovation and knowledge-based economic development.

A general assembly, four sub-forums and four IP-related activities will be held during the event, inviting more than 300 guests from all over the world to share their opinions on topics such as the optimization of global IP regulations and the cultivation of high-caliber talents in IP protection.
