Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission reported that there were zero newly confirmed local Covid-19 cases and zero new domestic asymptomatic Covid-19 cases, 2 newly confirmed imported cases, 1 imported asymptomatic case diagnosed as a confirmed case. Out of the 9 patients, who were discharged from hospital from 0:00 to 24:00 on June 17, 2021, 6 were domestic cases and 3 were imported cases.

As of 24:00 June 17, 2021, there are a total of 872 confirmed imported cases and 521 confirmed domestic cases (including imported related cases). A total of 1,231 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospital, and 1 patient died from the disease. Total Covid-19 hospitalizations are at 161.

From 0:00 to 24:00 June 17th, 2021, there were zero new local confirmed cases and zero new local asymptomatic cases. Two new confirmed imported cases and one new imported asymptomatic case were added.
