The guidelines for medical treatment in nine streets in Liwan District and the service of the community health service centers are as follows:

1. Please follow the official WeChat accounts of the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission---"Guangzhou Health Commission", "Updates in Guangzhou Liwan" to obtain official information on COVID-19 prevention and control measures, or call the Guangzhou Municipal Health Hotline through 12320. If you need English, Japanese, and Korean services, please call 960169 for Guangzhou Multilingual Public Service Platform. The Guangzhou Multilingual Public Service Platform interpreter will connect you to 12320 platform to answer your questions. Please do not believe in unverified information nor spread rumors.

2. In principle, the residents of Baihedong Street, Dongjiao Street, and Zhongnan Street should seek medical treatment within the lockdown area; the residents of Chongkou Street, Huadi Street, Shiweitang Street, Chajiao Street, Hailong Street, Dongsha Street should seek medical treatment within the partially lockdown area. Guangzhou municipal government has dispatched a team of experts from the top hospitals to the above-mentioned areas to provide medical treatments to residents in the area.

3. Those critically ill patients (patients suffering from myocardial infarction, cerebral infarction, coma, stroke, fracture, etc.) and the pregnant women in labour can directly dial 120 and will be transferred to medical institutions for treatment.

4. Fever patients can call the community health service agency (see appendix for details). The doctor will make house calls for patients and collect their nucleic acid specimen. Upon evaluation, if it is necessary to be referred to a medical institution for further examination or treatment, a dedicated car will be sent to pick up the patient.

5. Patients without fever can call the community health service agency for health consultation first, and doctors can make house calls if necessary. Those who need to be referred to a medical institution for further examination or treatment after evaluation shall be transferred to a medical institution within their corresponding area.

6. If patients suffering from chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension need to receive medicines, then a team made up of three persons from the community will provide medical services via telephone or come to the home of patients. If such patients reside in lockdown areas, then a team of three persons will come to patient's home to deliver medicine; if such patients reside in controlled areas, then the designated person from the household will go to pick up medicines in designated places during the opening hours of the community health agency.

7. Special patients who need hemodialysis can first contact the three-person team in the community or dial the service number of the community health service agency. After assessment by the three-person team, a special car will be sent to pick up the patient to the medical institution in the corresponding area for treatment.

8. For pregnant women, please fill in the pregnancy health care information through the "Sui Hao Yun" APP if you are contacted by the three-person team. A maternity doctor of the community health service center will keep in touch with you. Please follow the notice to visit the community health service center in your area for prenatal care. The maternity doctor at the community health service center and the obstetricians from district or municipal hospitals will conduct health assessments for you: ordinary pregnant women can make an appointment at the local community health service center for prenatal check; high-risk pregnant women can go to the designated medical institution for further examination (for lockdown area: Liwan District Maternity and Child Health Hospital); (for partially lockdown area: Liwan District People's Hospital).
