An opening ceremony for the children's play facilities donated by the city of Frankfurt in Germany to the children's park in Guangzhou's Yuexiu district was held on May 27.

Guangzhou and Frankfurt established a Friendship City relationship in 1988. The German city donated a set of children's play facilities in 2007, which are now in the Xinglongdong community on Yuexiu's Liurong Street. 

The decision to donate another set of facilities to Guangzhou was made by Frankfurt in 2018 to mark the 31st anniversary of the establishment of Friendship City ties between the two cities.

It is expected that the friendship between two cities will last forever and yield many more outcomes.
