An oak symbolizing the friendly communication and cooperation between Guangzhou and Portugal on the issue of environmental protection was planted in Guangzhou's Yuntai Garden on April 1.

The tree was donated by Andre Cordeiro, the consul general of Portugal in Guangzhou.
